Scrub/Radiologic Technologist
Position: Full Time
Location: Gahanna, OH
• Assists in giving quality patient care to patients and in other areas as needed • Maintain an orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients • Assist healthcare providers with various endovascular procedures • Observes universal precautions and utilizes sterile techniques • Observes the ALARA safety principle, ensuring minimal radiation doses are used during procedures • Prepares patients for endovascular procedures • Helps maintain and verifies that radiation generating (X-Ray) equipment is in working order • Maintain a clean and orderly procedure rooms, common areas and workspace • Check procedure rooms daily and restock with supplies as needed • Provide continuity of care, professional communication with all team members in a fast-paced work environment • Assess patient/family level of understanding to enhance effective communication and education • Other duties as assigned by leadership and supervisory staff
Registered Nurse
Position: Full Time
Location: Gahanna, OH
Summary: Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Ohio. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process; including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Serves as the patient’s advocate by safeguarding his/her human dignity and rights from preop assessment to post-anesthesia care and follow-up. Providing one-to-one individualized nursing care of high intensity in a short period of time to a patient in crisis. Working Conditions: • Hourly, as needed • Moderate physical effort required, frequent lifting of patients, medical equipment and supplies • Moderate computer and phone usage • Frequent walking throughout clinic location • Frequent standing for long periods of time • Frequent talking • Frequent need to wear lead apron/radiation protection equipment • Frequent need to observe universal precautions/sterile operating room procedures • Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling • Occasionally exposed to loud noise Qualifications: • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio: Required • Highest Level of Education Required: Associates Degree • Bachelor of Science in Nursing: Preferred • Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR): Required (within 90 days of hire) • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Required (within 180 days of hire) • Minimum one-year experience as a Registered Nurse: Required • Cardiovascular and/or peripheral vascular disease experience: Preferred • Critical Care and/or Cardiac catheterization lab experience: Preferred • Prior experience in the Operating Room: Preferred • Persistent to detail, thorough and exact • In good physical and mental health Specific Duties: • Maintain orderly, efficient, and timely flow of patients • Provide instruction to patients and family regarding medications and treatment • Assess patient/family level of understanding to enhance effective communication and education • Provide specialized nursing care to endovascular patients as necessary for in-office treatment • Screen patients for appropriate clinical information, accurately document vitals, condition, medications, and other relevant medical information using EMR system • Instruct patients in collection of samples and inform them of diagnostic tests/procedures • Arrange for patient testing and hospital admissions • Respond to incoming telephone calls from patients, families, referring offices, hospitals, etc. • Assist healthcare providers with various medical procedures • Prepare patients for and recover patients following outpatient endovascular interventions • Circulate during outpatient endovascular interventions • Assess patients for potential complications during peri-procedure and post-procedure times • Administer and chart critical care medications • Provide report to prep and recovery RN • Provide post-procedure instructions to patient, family, and/or caregiver prior to discharge • Provide compassionate, professional patient care and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment • Provide continuity of care while communicating with all team members • Other duties as assigned by leadership and supervisory staff
